If you hit once and you still want to hit again, you can. You can hit as many times as you want, as long as you don't go over 21. If you go over 21, you will bust and lose the hand. If you hit and

get 21 exactly, you will not have blackjack. Blackjack is only if you have an Ace and a 10-valued card.

If you're feeling lucky and you have a good starting hand, but want just one more card, you have the option to double down. Once the dealer has 17, he or she will hold. If the dealer is dealt a 17 to start with, the dealer will hold, so you must have 18 or greater to win. You must beat the dealer to win, so all ties besides blackjack go to the dealer. If the dealer goes over 21, the dealer busts and everyone who did not bust wins.
